New Yoga Schedule Begins Monday, July 6, 2026

AboutHatha yoga offers a range of physical and mental benefits, making it a popular choice for individuals seeking holistic well-being. Practicing hatha yoga can improve flexibility, strength, and balance through its deliberate postures and movements. It also promotes relaxation and stress reduction by encouraging mindful breathing and body awareness. Over time, regular practice may enhance concentration, boost energy levels, and support better sleep. Additionally, hatha yoga offers a gentle introduction for beginners while still providing depth and challenge for more experienced practitioners.

We offer a diverse range of classes, including hatha yoga, meditation, kids yoga, and restorative yoga, each designed to support overall wellbeing and personal growth. Our welcoming environment ensures that individuals of all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners, can find classes suited to their needs and progress at their own pace.

About Gentle Yoga Class
Gentle yoga is a calming and accessible class suitable for all ages and abilities. This class focuses on slow, mindful movements, gentle stretches, and supportive postures designed to release tension and increase flexibility. Emphasis is placed on deep breathing and relaxation, making it an excellent choice for those new to yoga, individuals recovering from injury, or anyone seeking a peaceful practice to reduce stress and promote overall wellbeing.

About Restorative Yoga Class

Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing class designed to help you unwind and rejuvenate. Using props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks, participants are guided into restful postures that are held for extended periods to encourage deep release and healing. This gentle practice is ideal for reducing stress, soothing the nervous system, and enhancing overall relaxation, making it suitable for all levels, including those recovering from injury or dealing with chronic stress.

About Hatha Yoga Class

This grounding and nourishing Hatha Yoga class supports strength, flexibility, mindfulness, and self-connection through intentional movement, breath, and stillness, guiding students to reconnect with body, mind, and spirit. Classes may include mantra, pranayama, meditation, Kundalini-inspired practices, Kriyas, and Yoga Nidra, with postures and breath woven together to support nervous system balance, vitality, and deep restoration. This welcoming all-levels class offers space for grounding, renewal, and deeper connection while honoring each student’s individual journey.

About Vin to Yin Yoga Class

About Ana

Ana Camacho Hansen began her spiritual journey in childhood, guided by her parents' devotional practices. Her mother and father, devotees of Mother Mary and Jesus Christ, prayed the rosary for over 35 years and often brought Ana to rosary gatherings at Estela Ruiz’s home in Phoenix, Arizona, where reported apparitions of the Blessed Mother occurred. These early experiences gave Ana a strong foundation in spiritual practice and devotion.

At the University of Rochester, Ana studied women's studies, political science, and English. Her devotion to God anchored her academic pursuits, and she was especially drawn to the ways religious women used their faith to create meaningful change in the world.

In 2001, Ana began formal studies in yoga and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Her introduction came through a Patricia Walden video gifted by her twin sister, Melissa. In 2003, she completed Yoga Alliance’s 200-hour teacher training at 7 Centers Yoga Arts in Sedona, Arizona, where she met influential gurus including Rama Jyoti Vernon, Shraddhasaggar (Ruth Hartung), and Ambaya (Pilar Martin). After training, Ana taught yoga and served as an ayurvedic chef at 7 Centers. She received darshan from Sri Karunamayi and Ammaji, the hugging saint of India, whom she continues to study as examples of holy women. In 2005, Ana completed her 500-hour teacher training with the International Yoga College, focusing on Conflict Resolution with Rama Jyoti Vernon and Max Lafser. In 2006, she opened Embody Yoga in Phoenix, Arizona.

In 2007, Ana made a life-changing pilgrimage to India with her husband, visiting temples, ashrams, and sacred sites. Her time in Rishikesh—bathing in the Ganges and meditating—deeply impacted her spiritual path. In January 2008, she attended her first 10-day Vipassana retreat, learning the practice as taught by S.N. Goenka. Ana now leads groups on retreat to India and other sacred sites, sharing these transformative experiences with others.

In March 2009, Ana welcomed her greatest teacher—her son. Today, she leads Sedona Sol Yoga's 100-hour Children's Yoga Teacher Training and the 225-hour Hatha Yoga and Ayurveda Yoga Teacher Training, sharing her expertise with aspiring teachers. Ana also leads yoga retreats in India and loves to share her passion for yoga and holistic well-being with the world. She is the author of two books: Yoga for Big Hearts and Little Hands: A Handbook of Yoga Poses for Kids, and H is for Headstand: A Yoga Alphabet Book. Ana is also a frequent conference speaker throughout the year, sharing her insights on yoga, mindfulness, and teaching.

About Christa

As both a yoga instructor and a Montessori educator, I bring a thoughtful student-centered approach to every class I teach.  My background in Montessori education deeply influences my yoga teaching style.  I encourage curiosity, independence, mindfulness, and connection. In my class, students are invited to move at their own pace, listen to their bodies, and explore yoga with intention rather than perfection. Whether in the classroom or on the mat,  I believe learning happens best in an environment that feels supportive, calm, and empowering.  When I am not in the classroom or on the mat, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, painting, cooking, and learning how to play cello. I look forward to meeting you.
